And a close-up of the shoes. We found these at Academy last night on their "clearance aisle"...who knew that even existed? I didn't until last night.

This post made me think of this parade we have in San Antonio during Fiesta. It's called Battle of Flowers. There are always the parade Queens, Princesses, etc. They wear these super fancy, gorgeous dresses that are long. Then under their dresses they wear tennis shoes b/c they are standing for the whole parade and you can't see them because their dresses are so long. Anyway, this tradition has started where the crowd will yell, "show me your shoes" and the girls will lift their dresses to show their tennis shoes. So, maybe AC is training for this - raising her pants to show her shoes. :)
