Warning: To say this post is overloaded with pictures would be an understatement. We've been at General Assembly in Orlando, and today, we hit Magic Kingdom. So get ready....
When we arrived at our hotel, Anna Claire was beyond excited to learn that she would be sleeping in a pull-out sofa bed! Oh, the little things. She was even more excited to learn that we would let her eat cheeseballs in her bed! Ha.
Here's Anna Claire just chillin' in the hotel lobby. There was a ridiculously huge TV in the lobby that captivated Anna Claire. And yes, she is wearing the large flower in her hair. I just love it!
Day One (for us) at General Assembly....Big globe, small girl:
We ate dinner one night at a pizza place. When Anna Claire saw this random group picture, she pointed to one guy and said, "Hey, that's my brother!" Nice. Let's just end all pregnancy rumors right here....I am not pregnant. Anna Claire does not have some "secret brother". Funny.
One happy little girl! She was such a good sport through everything!
Anna Claire is showing off her VBS tattoo. This made me laugh. To advertise the VBS 2010 theme, NPH gave out temporary tattoos. What's so funny about that? Let's just say Nazarenes aren't "huge fans" of tattoos.
While in Orlando, we managed to find our way over to M&M World - such a fun place!
We also stumbled upon 5 Guys Hamburgers, which was delicious. I want to go back. Maybe when we go to Dallas.
The Sunday morning service of General Assembly was amazing. There were over 22,000 people there! Here are some pictures from that service. Anna Claire and her buddy, Brennan attempted to sit with Brennan's cousins for a short part of the service. They are a mess.
There was a pretty impressive exhibit hall with all kinds of booths. Here's just a sample:
And being the good Nazarene PK, Anna Claire had her picture taken in front of the current General Superintendents' group picture.
Here's our M&M girl who insisted on wearing these silly sunglasses, even when it wasn't sunny.
Congrats to you if you are still with me! You've made it through the General Assembly pictures....now for Magic Kingdom. Anna Claire was so excited about going to "Mickey's House", she was about to pop, and she took it upon herself to invite anyone and everyone to come with her to "Mickey's House". She even invited the lady at the cleaners in Baton Rouge, who played along and said, "Sure, I'd love to come!" As we were driving into Orlando the other night, and even again this morning on our way to MK, Anna Claire said, "We forgot to pick up the lady at the cleaners!" Bless her heart.
Look at this little cutie in her Minnie Mouse shirt, compliments of my friend, Amy!
First stop: Dumbo. She rode with her daddy and did great!
It's a Small World - one of her favorites:
Mad Tea Party - she really liked this one and ran straight to Brad afterwards to tell him about the mouse that popped out of the top of the teapot!
At the entrance to Minnie's house:
Modeling her Minnie Mouse ears:
This next picture is a classic. It will resurface again....Anna Claire was not too sure about the Peter Pan ride, and I took this picture at one point during that ride. Want to see what fear looks like in the eyes of Anna Claire? Poor thing.
We met up with the Isom family, some friends from Carrollton. Anna Claire is crazy about their girls, Haley and Haven (sidenote: these two girls were the flowergirls in our wedding).
Unlike the Peter Pan ride, Anna Claire truly enjoyed riding Cinderella's carousel.
And this picture is for my dear friend Lindsay because I felt our friendship might be in jeopardy if I left MK without this picture (kidding, LM). Anna Claire is "modeling" a Dole Whip, a personal favorite of Lindsay's. I must say, it is now a personal favorite of ours as well. So refreshing and tasty.
We were about to leave for the afternoon, when a parade started up, so we stayed around to watch. Anna Claire had the best seat for a parade filled with characters. Anna Claire was all excited to see the characters prior to our arrival at MK; however, upon arrival, she wouldn't go near any character. This is as close as we got to any character, and the only reason she felt ok was because she was on her daddy's shoulders.
Mommy/daughter pic on the Monorail:
We went back to MK for the night parade, and Anna Claire managed to pick up a few Buzz Lightyear (her favorite character) treats!
Here's a night view of the castle:
We met up with the Hoffpauir crew after the parade where Anna Claire and Brennan modeled their new Mickey ears. This picture makes me happy. Anna Claire and Brennan went through a love/hate stage, but now, as they get a little older, they are starting to get along better. :)
When we boarded the Monorail tohead back to our car after the parade, Brad asked the conductor if we could ride up front with him. He said, "sure", and off we went! What a fun experience, and Anna Claire was given a little "Honorary Monorail Co-Conductor" card. Cute.
Stay tuned for Day 2. I'll also have to make a separate post of the pictures I took with my phone.

VERY Fun!!! We had so much fun at Disneyland - priceless memories... I'm so glad that Anna Claire is getting to enjoy the magic of Disney. :)
PS The green M&M shirt totally took me back to our high school days. Ha!
Oh, what a fun place for little girls (and big ones too!) Don't melt from the Florida heat! That's what I remember about Disney in the summer, along with a few long lines, but oh, the rides are worth it with the kids!Hope you get to try out lots of rides while you are there.
