10 Months Old Today!!!

Happy 10 months, Anna Claire!
Granny and Papa Bear had ordered Anna Claire a Cozy Coupe a while back, and it finally arrived today! We quickly assembled it, and we were out the door for a walk! You can see by the pictures that Anna Claire LOVES her new car!

Fun Times With Granny

Granny is staying with us while Brad is at seminary! What a fun week we've had, and it's only Wednesday!

My First Lock-In

Tonight, the teens from our church are having a lock-in over at the church. It didn't start 'til 10pm, so we headed over there around 10:30. AC was ready to play! She was fascinated by the volleyball, and she loved cheering her daddy on while he played a quick game of volleyball with the teens! Granny comes tomorrow for a week! WHOOP!

Diaper Cake

We had a baby shower at the church tonight, and I made a diaper cake for our gift. It seems like just yesterday we were participating in our own baby shower, and now Anna Claire is about to be 10 months! Whoa!

Such a Trooper!

This little kiddo will go for hours and never get fussy! She loves to shop! She just gets frustrated every once in a while because she can't get down and take off running. Oh, those days can wait.

We love BUMPS!

Anna Claire officially started her new "school" (BUMPS stands for Broadmoor United Methodist Pre-school)this week, and she loves it! She comes home happy and impecable! She gets a great deal of attention because of the small class size - perfect! No tears when Brad takes her in the mornings - a bonus! She hasn't figured out nap time completely, so she takes only a brief nap. I assume this is because there are just too many toys and too many things to explore right now. She comes home exhausted, but she always has a smile on her face!
We're going through an interesting stage right now where she could care less about her formula! It's all we can do to get her to drink a bottle because she just wants table food. This too shall pass.

Meet The Teacher

This morning, Anna Claire and I went to meet her new teachers at "school"! What a hoot! We arrived at 9, and three other "classmates" were there with their parents. The kids played, and the parents learned about the day schedule, what to bring, etc.
We are really excited about Anna Claire going to BUMPS (see previous post)!
Here's a picture of her before we went this morning! Now that her teeth have all cut through on the top, she is a much happier little girl!

Anna Claire felt she needed to help me type this blog.
We have no pictures for this blog because Anna Claire has been busy this week cutting 3 upper teeth....lovely! So, she hasn't felt just super and definitely not in a picture-taking mood.
Monday, we took her to our new pediatrician, and Anna Claire weighs 19.2 pounds and is 29 inches long! I'm happy (and rather shocked!) to report that our child is in the 90th percentile of height! Ha! We're not sure where that came from!
Then, we got a call on Tuesday that a Methodist church near our church had an opening for Anna Claire! So, she will start at her new "school" on Monday! A couple of funny things about this new place: 1. It's called Broadmoor United Methodist Pre-school or BUMPS for short....love it! 2. They have parent orientation tonight and meet the teacher on Saturday morning! Greatness!

I've been at the school all this week, and the kids arrive tomorrow! Should be a fun year!
