Memorial Day Part I

This morning, we woke up a little early, drove through Chick-Fil-A to get breakfast, and headed to the park for a little breakfast picnic. Growing up, our family would always go to the park on Memorial Day or Labor Day and my dad, Mr. Boy Scout, would cook breakfast at the park. Well, we did the next best thing....Chick-Fil-A.

When did this child grow up?? Mercy. I really can't believe she will 4 years old in just a few short months!

Brad brought his glider plane to the park. AC made the funniest faces when trying to fly it. The plane is made of styrofoam, but you would have thought she was throwing some 50 lb. object!

Anna Claire could easily swing all day if we would let her. She laughs while she swings which is hilarious  to me, but the little boy swinging next to her kept looking at her. Look.

When we got home, Anna Claire came around the corner wearing her goggles and panties. Classy. She said, "Mommy, I'm going swimming!" "Where?", I asked. "In the hallway", and she ran off. I quickly followed her only to find her pretending to swim down the hallway.
Lucky for her, we're going to some friends' house tonight for a cook out and there will be some water activities as well. I'll post more later.
