Sunday! Sunday!

Here are some pictures from our day! The dress AC is wearing in the first picture is one that Brad and I bought for her the last time we were in New York! We had just found out we were having a girl, so when we saw this dress, we knew it was a "must have"! We are thrilled that it now fits her! The other pictures are from our dinner tonight with the teens from our church at Cane's - yummy!

Aggie Chick

Anna Claire LOVES to look out the window in her bedroom! We had an air mattress in her room from when we had company, and we haven't taken it down yet. Well, Anna Claire thinks it's a new playland! Today, she was just talking away to whatever she saw outside! She was standing on her tippy-toes trying to see out the window! The shirt she is wearing says "Aggie Chick". We bought it for her when Aunt Elizabeth got her Aggie Ring! One month from tomorrow, we celebrate Anna Claire's 1st birthday!!! Hard to believe!

Princess For a Day?

Yesterday, we went to some friends' house to watch the LSU game (have I mentioned what a HUGE deal these games are in this city??), and Anna Claire found this "fancy" dog collar. Well, she clearly thought it would work best as a tiara!

Growing Like a Weed!

It seems like Anna Claire grows more each day! Here are a couple of pictures from tonight. Enjoy.
1. AC loves to stand up on the couch/bed/recliner, and laugh! If you're not careful, she fall back and laugh even harder!
2. AC now gives "kisses" - really she just licks your cheek...nice! Her teachers at school have taught her how to 'blow kisses', but she just pats her mouth and licks her hand! Funny.

Toga Party

Apparently, Anna Claire thought it was Toga Night at our house and decided to transform her onesie into an "off the shoulder" toga....either that, or our little darling has learned how to take her arms and legs out of clothing...such talent!

LSU Tailgating...

This past weekend, we had the opportunity to take advantage of some good LSU tailgaiting! Our friends laid down this purple towel for Anna Claire to sit on, and that's exactly what she did! She LOVED the towel....oh the simple things! She also liked playing in the back of our friend's truck!

Papa Bear Makes the Headlines of Pampa!

As most of you know, my dad (Papa Bear to Anna Claire) took a new job in Pampa, Texas.
Now he's made the front page of the local Pampa paper....cute.

PF Changs, PJ's, Pumpkins, and Pelicans

Here are some fun pictures from yesterday and today!
Last night, we took Anna Claire to PF Changs. She had a good time trying new foods! Before we went, we took a few pictures of her outside.


This afternoon, we went to the grocery store, and I handed AC this pumpkin while I buying produce. She held it the entire time we were shopping! She is very proud of her first pumpkin! Also, Granny bought her some new pj's that she is modeling in the next few pictures!
Granny also bought her some new bath toys! Anna Claire has taken a strong liking to the pelican. She will carrying it around in her mouth!


And finally.....tonight, AC was playing in her pack 'n play while I was working on the computer. I had my back to her, and I heard her clapping and laughing! I quickly turned around to check on her, only to see that she had managed to take off her pj pants and throw them over the side....lovely! Needless to say, she was proud of herself!!

The Last Few Days...

Brad made it home from seminary, Robyn made it back to Oklahoma City, and Anna Claire hasn't missed a beat!
I had the empty apple juice bottle by the trashcan because it was too large for the trash, and while I was doing other things in the kitchen, Anna Claire found the bottle and tried to get every last drop of apple juice!
Aunt Robyn brought Anna Claire the most adorable set of alphabet blocks made by a lady at her bank! Each one has a bell inside, and Anna Claire loves for someone to stack the blocks so she can knock them down!
When we got home today, Anna Claire made a mad dash for her car, so we went for a walk! There is a cup/juice box holder in her car, so I let her take some juice with her on our ride today! Oh, she thought that was pretty cool!
Must have drink.....
Some kids pick flowers for their parents, our child picks leaves and tries to eat them.....lovely.
When Dad got home, some schools books arrived in a box, and Anna Claire had a new toy! It's the simple things in life! She first sat on it, then she pushed it all around the living room!

My First Art Project!

Look what I made for my mom and dad at school today!
I'm very proud of my work! Mom even put it on the refrigerator tonight! I'm so excited!

Busy! Busy! Busy!

I'm pretty sure we haven't stopped in the past two weeks! Anna Claire is such a trooper and just goes with the flow! Last night, we took Robyn to see LSU, and we saw Mike the tiger's new habitat:


Then, this afternoon, Anna Claire found a magazine that she thought was fun to tear! Lovely.

Tonight, she was showing off at dinner! She has this new trick that when she's finished, she wipes her hands in her hair....so lady-like! And she gets a big smile on her face when you clean off her tray...doesn't like a mess!

This last picture is for Jim and Pinky! In the spring, when Anna Claire stayed with them, they taught her to raise her hands above her head when they would ask, "Anna Claire, how big are you? Are you sooooo big?".....well, she still likes to show us just what a big girl she is!

A Busy 24 hours!

We've had a busy 24 hours, to say the least! Yesterday (Saturday), Brad flew in from Kansas City (he is there for seminary for 2 weeks) at 11am. Mom, Anna Claire, and I drove to New Orleans to pick him up. We ate lunch near the airport, and then took Mom back to the airport so she could catch a 3pm flight to Amarillo (visiting Dad in the thriving metropolis of Pampa!), and Robyn flew in from Oklahoma City at 4pm - whoa! Today, we went to church, and then drove BACK to New Orleans to take Brad to the airport! He will be back next Saturday, and Robyn will be staying with us for the week! Needless to say, due to all this time in the car, Anna Claire was in rare form today!
These first few pictures are of Anna Claire standing in her carseat - her new favorite thing to do when anyone attempts to buckle her in! One of the pictures shows off her top 4 teeth -greatness. and don't you just love the look she is giving me in the other picture - she's up to something!!!! :)

While Granny was here this past week, she spent HOURS on this house, and it looks fabulous! She just a way of organizing and cleaning that I think skipped a generation!! Anyway - she organized the "tupperware cabinet" and it looked so nice and tidy....WELL.....AC has rediscovered her love of tupperware.....here are the results. Mom, don't cry! After she went to bed, I quickly went in there and re-organized it for you! Be proud!
This afternoon, we ran by Cafe du Monde near the airport and picked up some of thse scruptious beignets - YUMMY! Here, Anna Claire and her Aunt Robyn are sharing one - serious buisness!!!
And finally - Sophie....this past week, Granny put a towel down on this one chair that Sophie likes to jump up on and relax. Sophie isn't real thrilled with the towel, and this is what she decided to do....who needs a towell??
